starting them young these days..

A lovely workshop today, the accordion pocketed album decorated in 7gypsies gypsy Market papers. This class was a sellout straight away, so congratulations to all who managed to get on it. It is a really enjoyable album to make and for once everyone almost finished it. Unheard of in my classes, I must be slipping, lol. Here's the album itself.

Maisie popped in to see us at lunch.. Think this is a bit of Northern Soul dancing...!!!

And a bit of a soulie spin...its all in the genes you know..and hard to master in wellies..!!
Right thats it Mama , I'm off to find me Dad..

Heres the ladies hard at work
L - R Belle, Ingrid, Jill, Theresa and Heidi

Helen, Pat, Jane and Barbara

Jane, Barbara, Ann, belle and Ingrid.

It was the lovely Theresa's birthday today, so the Goddess quickly whipped up this little number. Well its the thought that counts..lol..

Next Wed class, the frame accordion book is fully booked , but we do have a few places on the Tues class Tags of Texture. This is one of my fave classes because it has loads of techniques. Its decorated in the Laura Ashley flocked paper range and incorporates paints stamping, distressing to name a few.

Don't forget, as if you could, that it is Demo day on Sat.. Part of the festivities includes the raffle. the prizes consist of a signed Tim Holtz ink pad tin, bumper Blonde Moments package, 7 gypsies package, workshop voucher and much more. Ben has put the raffle tickets available on line and you can donate for them HERE. Remember all the profits are going to The Carers Society.
Will leave you with some more art journal pages.

Enjoy xx

Hi Dyan,
Love the album, looks like it was a fun class.
The Tag album looks great too, is that a wooden letter T on the front? If so do you sell letters like that?
The journel pages are Fab the last one is very funny, would so love to say that sometimes.
It made me laugh!! :-)
Will phone shop tomorrow to get some raffel tickets.
Hugs,
Michelle xx

can't wait for Saturday - what could be better than making and taking (for me that'll prob just be the tea!!!) in a fab environment(ok..once you've negotiated the big grotty doors and the darkness!!)eating cake, drinking tea and knowing that whilst I get to have all that fun that someone else will benefit - Carer's Resource do such a fab job and are a lifeline to so many amazing but often struggling people who are doing their best for the people they love.
Better go and try hard not to burn some muffins to bring - lol
