Dina Wakely Blog Hop….. win some of her…..

Fabulous line of paints, mediums and brushes.

As many of you know, Dina is one of my bestest, bestest, ever, ever friends. I love to spend as much time with her as possible, whether here or in the States. Not only is she a fabulous friend, she is a superb artist and one of the best tutors I know. Never pass up the opportunity to take a class from her, you will come away with your head exploding with inspiration and knowledge.
My first class with Dina was about 6 yrs ago and she just blew me away, and still continues to , to this day.
I feel very privileged, not only in being able to share in her artistry, but knowing she has my back. Although loads of you think we have the most fabulous job and are living the rock and roll life, it can be very lonely and exhausting. She is the only person in the world who knows what I am going through and vice versa. She is also the only one who understands  and accepts my Urban Decay eye pencil addiction. Love this girl to pieces, and when Ranger took her as a fellow Signature designer I was over the moon.

Sooo…enough of the love fest and back to the …

To celebrate the release of her paint line she invited me ( err might have bullied her a bit!) , to take part in her blog hop with these fabulous artists.

What a line up, I hear you say…yes indeedy. Please hop over to their blogs to see what they have done and give them some luuuuuurve from me.

Dina's paints come in tubes and are the creamiest buttery paints you will have seen. Totally different to others, as you soon discover. And best of all, over half of them are in the fabulous bright colours that I adore.

Her mediums not only come in tubes but also in the larger jars as well

And although I am not a massive brush user, these are rather fabby.

This journal layout was done at Dinas, the first time I ever used her paints.

If you fancy winning a set of Dina's mediums and paints then hop over to her blog and leave a comment. Tell her I sent you, lol.

All of her products are available to buy HERE

including her book Art Journal Freedom

If you want to win a set of her mediums and brushes on top of all that then leave a comment on here telling my why?

eyes wishing you a fabulous Bank Holiday Monday/Memorial Day.

Enjoy xx

Ive been soooo inspired by Dina Wakely. The way that she paints makes it so that anyone and everyone can do it. And for normal folk like ourselves, thats always nice to hear. I have her book, Art Journal Freedom and I think Ive read it about 47 times. It truely is something that I keep going back to! So, with that said, after watching all of her tutorials and reading her book, I am beyond excited for her new paint line and brushes to come out!! For me, to continue my art journal journey....these paints and brushes and mediums of hers are on my MUST HAVE list of supplies!!! I simply cannot wait to try the paint that spreads like butter! And lets not forget the gesso...the underwear for the page! So, with that being said, I would LOVE to win her products and I cant wait to start using them in my Dyan Reaveley art journal!!

What a Fab blog hop, Dyan! What an amazing opportunity to do some 'window shopping' for Dina's fantastic line of paints!! Especially for a newbie to using paints, like me :)I'm just now getting comfortable with using paints in my crafting and not being afraid of them! And Dyan, you are not alone--I do know the exhaustion and loneliness you put yourself through for your line and the wonderful mfg's you work with. It is hard work, sometimes may seem not very rewarding either, but you are Loved and Admired and I do hope one day I get to meet you! I'm from the hood of Carson, CA where you've been at the Stamp in the Hand convention in the past and I do hope to one day get back down there to meet you in person and give you some Artsy Fartsy Love!! I call my life "From the Hood to the Woods"....sounds like a fab art journal, right? Perfect for Dina's paints? XOXO-Shari

Love the colors of these paints, especially the brights. Would love to try them with stencils or even with a Gelli plate. They seem to layer beautifully. Absolutely scrumptious! Definitely many notches above any other paints I've used.

I so want her stuff!! Craft paint is just NOT the same. Love your page, it's funky, whimsical, weird, all yummy art goodness!

I would love to use Dina's mediums and brushes for my art so I can channel her artistic talent into my art. I have always loved her knack for color combinations and design. Thanks for sharing! I love your products as well and feel your large dylusions journal is the most rocking journal for my art journaling!

Wow Dyan! Gorgeous Journal Layout & What a generous giveaway. I would love to win some of Dina's medium. I have been wanting to give them a try ever since I read that the matt finish stops journal pages sticking together. I find it so annoying to spend ages on a page & then to have them stick & rip. thanks for the chance to win.
with love & admiration, Theresa x

Well, this is fabulous i am blog hopping for the first time ever as i don't even have a blog so does this still count? Anyway I am still inspired by funny, fabulous, talented artists like Dina and you. I love Dina's book which I own already plus I have signed up for her classes in Friendswood, Texas this coming June. So I would love a chance to get some practice in with her paints and brushes before I meet in her in person, so excited....and my other paint brushes are crossed!! Toni Boucha

Your pages are beautiful and I enjoyed the photos of you two. I could benefit from a win because I am absolutely out of heavy body acrylic paints and medium. I have been waiting to order and now I know why...because Dina has a new line out and I must try those. The brushes look great too.

I love her bright colors and fun faces, I would love to try out her new products to create some fun pages!

I've always used craft paint but I would like to try a better quality paint because I don't like how craft paint looks chalky. Still, I don't like super-shiny paints so I wonder if Dina's paints are more matte. Perhaps I'll learn more as I blog hop. P.S. Your enthusiasm is contagious!

I completely LOVE your journal page, the colours look amazing. Got to get some of these paints to try.

I would love to win a set of her meduims because I live in such a dry area that stuff that comes in jars dry before their time...her mediums are in tubes!

Carolyn said...

Thanks for the chance to win her brushes and mediums. Why do I want to ... because I would love the chance to mix her mediums with your stencils.

PS: Thanks for the great class!

these colors are amazing. I would love a set to use in my newly started collage painting!

I would love to try Dina's paints and brushes. I already told her on her blog, If I don't win them, I will definitely buy them! I am in love with the bright colours and after having seen some pics and vids I am also very curious to the darker colours. I have a good feeling about how they would work with a gelli plate too. Must admit it's quite hard to find a brand of paints that is really to my taste. Have big expectations with Dina's.

They also seem to go very well with your inks (which are fabulous!).

I loved to read how good friends you are and the lovely pics. A good friend is worth everything!

Oh and I do hope I will, some day, be able to do a workshop from the both of you. There have to change some things in health, finances and travel options first though. But if you promise to stay in the business, I promise I will be in your classes one day.

I would love to win a set of these because for the past couple months I've been so busy working 70 hours a week between two jobs and having to move that I've had no "me" time to create. I think this would be the perfect opportunity for me to get inspired, play and try new products when I finally slow down enough to relax (hopefully i'll finish unpacking this week!)
