The Carson show, California...

After the usual traumatic journey I land in California a day before any one expected, lol, so I was left to amuse myself. I spent the day pottering and exploring and ended up at one of my fave places

I'm not really a burger person but I love going to 5 guys, the burgers are fabulous cooked exactly how you like them.

I was invited to demo at the show by the fabulous Stampers Anonymous team, Ted and Michelle, alongside the master Mr Tim Holtz. Friday was spent setting up the booth.

Always time for a bit of fun. This is the lovely Bruce with his version of pole dancing!! Not sure if it will catch on !!

I spent my time prepping. Lots of stamped images waiting to be coloured in.

Lookie what Tim gave me. Yup its only the Seasonal Distress colours in markers. Right up my alley.

The first day dawned brightly and we started with our Starbucks run compliments of the Fabulous Mario and the lovely Chelle. Not sure that the Barista school of charm was paying off !!!

The show opened and we were off. And we never stopped all day. It was a fabulous fun day and I met some great people. Unfortunately I didn't have time for photos and these two were all I managed.

After the show ended we all piled in the cars and descende upon Downtown Disney. I was a little apprehensive as I am definitely not a Disney girl.

But within two minutes I was snapping photos of the lego to show the Maismeister on my return.

We had a booking at the Naples restaurant.

But just ordered a light snack !!

And then it was into the Disney store where I was like a kid in a candy store. Tim had a fabulous time choosing me a hat.

Spot the difference..!!!

Yup this is the one

As you can see I got a bit over excited.

Yup I have been well and truly Disneyfied

Today it was back to demoing and meeting some great people.

Including the lovely Charlean who brought me Sees chocolate....yumm.

And this is the lovely Mark, who up until 6 mths ago had never crafted in his life, and after somehow stumbling across some of my Youtube videos has become completely hooked. He was so excited and passionate about learning and he really made my day.

I also had some lovely photos of others which seem to have disappeared, including the lovely Barbara and her daughter and Cathy who identified with my "life is too frikkin short" mentality and got her first tattoo at the age of 63!!!

And before you know it, it was time to pack up and leave.

Tim and Mario were flying straight home nd had some unusual items to take with them. Mario is the King of packaging and this is what he came up with. Would love to see the faces at check in..

Before they left we had a quick bite at Chillis, and on the way we passed this fabulous retro car showroom. Just my type of thing.

I leave in the morning for the next part of my trip where I will spend four days making samples with my new stamps and stencils. Get ready for the big reveal of my new products on the blog tomorrow. Exciting times...

Super post today Dy.
So lovely to have seen you on the taster day at AFHT, hope Angie and I will join you again real soon.

Disney has never been my thing either, but must admit to loving the Disney Shop and last time I was in it I bought the Strawberry Bear (bad bear!) from Toy Story 3, just couldn't help it!! And he smells nice too!

Gosh you have a full itinerary, take care.
p.s. I am running a workshop at the end of the month and have spent the last two nights stamping and colouring in about 50 of your stamps for the kids to use! Love the Monster Boys and the Gorgeous Ladies.

So grateful that you include Carson in all your crazy travels. We really looked forward to this July show, knowing you would be there; you really motivated my mum to start journalling this time. Hope you get some down time once you finally arrive home!
