The hills are alive……..

with the sound of Dyan……he he he …

Oh yes indeedy wait till you hear what I am up to now..

A red head, an Irishman, a singing nun, and some of our favourite things…!!!!

I'm only hosting a land tour with workshops to Germany, Austria and Bavaria…

Yup you heard me correct me and the lovely Jim West will be your hosts/guides/partners in crime as we travel round these beautiful countries.

I'm thinking this will be the campiest tour you have ever been on. Can you imagine?? he he

Me and Jim will just have to have some matching outfits as we channel the Von Trapp family. I absolutely adore the film, the Sound of Music and so there will be no stopping me with the singing and the excitement.

PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Round trip airfare , most meals, accommodations in a family owned lodge in Bavaria and first class hotel accommodations in Munich, private motor coach and driver, special art journaling workshop shopping opportunities in Salzburg, Austria and Munich, a boat ride on Lake Chiemsee, visiting special Sound of Music movie locations, and much more

One of my favourite bits will be visiting the fountain from the film and singing Do Re Me…he he so easily pleased.

Amidst all the laughter and the frolics I will be fitting in some art journaling techniques for you to learn, and you will have a fabulous goody bag of specially designed products to boot.

Can you really afford to miss out on all this frivolity??? No I thought not… I am not taking a massive group as I wanted to get to know you all so spaces are limited.

So when is this adventure happening you ask yourselves….May 23rd to the 31st 2015. They do payment plans so you have plenty of time to save your pennies.
I'm not sure I can actually go that long without bursting with excitement but we'll see.

For the full itinerary and more details go HERE

Here's some of the highlights…

Oberammer…home of passion plays

Salzberg..the birthplace of 18th-century composer Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart

 Ruhpolding

Neuschwanstein Castle...The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as a homage to Richard
Wagner. If I remember rightly it was also used as the inspiration for the Disney princess castle.

There is also the option to finish the trip with a visit to Dachau, a must for me personally.

I really can't wait for this to come around and hope you are excited to join me.

Enjoy xx

At the moment I am in Arizona with my wonderful friend the one and only Dina Wakely…

Yesterday we set off up the hills to see the lovely Mr Tim Holtz

Once we got our work out of the way we decided to have a bit of fun and teach each other some of our techniques.

I went first and introduced them to the delights of sprays and quirky collage. I kept it quite toned down lol.

Then it was Tims turn, as you can see he found it hilarious to give me brown, brown and brown to work with!!

I'm not so good with adding 3d embellishments but soon got the hang of it. They are laughing because in this photo my boobs are most certainly 3d!!!

Then came Dina who was determined to teach us both to draw, despite our reservations.

 I'm sure we'll improve, lol

As usual you can guess who was the messy one!!

She got it everywhere...

It was really fun for us all to get out of our comfort zones and do stuff we normally don't.

Rain in Dallas..??

This was the scene from the plane window at 6am this morning, a torrential storm…we had to sit on the runway for a while but we made it through.

I have just spent a fabulous weekend teaching some lovely ladies at Scrapbook n Such, Wichita Falls.

Almost my name in lights, lol.

First day ready to go..

Gayle behaved herself this year but still managed to make a mess

Its not a proper weekend without a cheeky Margarita, is it.??

Day 2 ready to go..

Loving the Dylusioned aprons of Marie and Christine

I made some new friends…

and packed it all up ready for Guadeloupe's next week in Santa Fe.

I'm currently sat in Dallas airport waiting for a flight to Phoenix to see my favourite creative genius Dina Wakely. We will be spending a few days working our fingers to the bone, nonstop…oh ok we may spare a few minutes for a wee bit of frivolity and a visit to the Mothership. I'll keep you posted.

Too many heads...

not enough hats…

Well that can't be said around here. I was just prepping a few pages in one of my small Dylusions journals ready for my epic 23hr journey on Thursday. I take ready prepared backgrounds and add ready cut out images. Sometimes for collage and sometimes from left over samples. I found a few of my ladies heads from the sets With the Right Hat and So many Hats , part of my Couture line, that were simply stamped onto ready inked backgrounds, and added them, ready to be doodled whilst in the air.

So I thought I would show you some examples of the gorgeous stamps in action.

These below were made by the Resident Bit of Glamour, Our Jay.

and these were made by the gorgeous Sandy Poppins

These tags I made for a book class

an unfinished journal page

a finished journal page

and a haven't quite decided yet page.

Two more from Jay just waiting to be used

and a couple of sneaks of some Christmas samples I am working on

I have two of each set as give aways. If you fancy winning one leave me a blog comment below.
