New workshop news...

Just a quick reminder of some of the weekends we are having at Art from the Heart.

**Sat/Sun 26th/27th Feb - Mini Ranger U 3 - 9-5pm/9-5pm
The weekend follows the same format as 1 & 2. Lots and lots of back to back, hints tips and techniques, with Sunday afternoon playtime. The topics this time will include everything you ever wanted to know about alcohol inks, spray inks, Claudines Studio line, creating on different surfaces, collage and more. You will leave stuffed, with delicious food and also with knowledge, tons of it all encased in your techniqu/inspiration file.
Don't worry if you havent attended 1 or 2, they can be taken in any order you fancy

11th/12th/13th March - Altered Book Journal - 7.30-10pm/9-5pm/9-4pm

After repeated requests and dozens of desperate pleas, lol, I have managed to squeeze in a weekend of altering. We will be taking an old book, making a hidden drawer, folded pages, hidden pockets, layering techniques, windows, flaps, tags and pull outs. You will experience techniques galore and have a ball putting them into practise. Painting, inking, spraying, folding, pleating, layering, cutting, hiding, doodling, stamping, colouring, eating, drinking, chatting, laughing and generally having a ball.

And heres news of a new weekend in progress. Making your own books/journals. Now these are really sturdy journals not just mini books, We will be making them from canvas, card and watercolour paper. You will learn new techniques for constructing them from scratch. We will be using various ways to bind the journals, machine stitching, ribbon binding, coptic stitching . The covers are made from sturdy mountboard for maximum durability.

I will be sorting a date out as soon as I get a minute, but its 4.20 am and I,m not in the mood to find the diary, lol. Drop me a line if you are interested.

So what have I been up to today..??

More samples

Enjoy xx
