Chilling with the Canadians

Its been a long time coming but I have finally touched Canadian soil!!!

My first stop was at the lovely Natalies of Scrapbook Centrale in Montreal

Fabulous displays in the store

Vegan burgers at Copper Branch. Fabulous, I think I ate there 5 times lol. And managed to get my beloved fresh juices.

The first day of teaching I wore purple in honour of Prince who sadly lost his life.

And even the classroom was holding tribute to him, lol.

Day two and  the lovely Constance came to pay a visit and show me her journal, yay to her Mum for encouraging her. She spoke fabulous English, as did everyone I met. Thank you as I speak terrible French lol.

Day three was just as fabulous as the others

And before we could blink it was over!!!

Here is the lovely Josee who's husband Marc had bought her all of the classes for her 50th birthday.

Lots of people had driven for hours to get here, but Alison drove the furthest. 11 hours...yes you heard me correctly 11hrs!!!!. I salute you

I had a fabulous time and Natalie was a wonderful host, providing me with hot tea and vegan food.

Teaching her the normal Dyan photo face, lol

A big thank you to all of her staff as well, they are a wonderful bunch. If you have never been to the store, its well worth a visit.
Packed with stock and they do some fabulous workshops. Definitely check out the ones by the extremely talented Giselle below.

All in all, I had a blast and as Arnie says "I'll be back" and I promise it won't take me 4 yrs this time lol.

Go HERE for their write up of my visit.

So it was Aurevoir  to Montreal and on to the next stop.

Enjoy xx

This post has made me furiously happy. The wealth of colour spilling onto paper is a joy to behold! How can you not help but grin a mile wide, seeing the output of a happy classroom. Truly amazeballs. I am so glad you are out there Dyan, making the world just that little less black and white. Although, that being said, there is nothing wrong with black and white colour schemes...
