When I was still in the States it was coming up to Halloween, and everyone was discussing their costumes.
There is a marked difference in Halloween costumes between the UK and the US.
In the UK people dress up in traditional Halloween costumes, i.e. scary costumes…witches, monsters, vampires.
Whereas in the US anything goes.
Last year my lovely friend Tanya dressed up as me and at first I wasn't sure how to take it. But I was relieved to find that it was actually a compliment and that she didn't think of me as a witch, lol.
Every year Ranger has a traditional Halloween fancy dress day and how cool to see one of this years participants.
Enter the lovely Kelly, from the Graphics department, dressed as yours truly…
How cool does she look…?
Cherry dress…check
red hair…check
victory roll…check
little bolero…check
leggings…check
moustache necklace…check
50's spectacles
flower in hair…check
sounds like she has it all under control...
Ha ha the only drawback to looking like me is getting put to work. Todays job seems to be filling my ink pens.
But something appears to be missing…
Ahhh there it is …my trusty kitchen roll.
See the resemblance..??? he he well done Kelly I now have a stunt double to send out to stores.!!
This morning I was up at the unholy hour of 3am, ready to start the trip for a weekends teaching in Rome, for the fabulous Timbroscrapmania. My elf for the weekend was pretty parcel wrapper and Ben's right hand man…the lovely Ali
I don't think she was too impressed with the travel arrangements..!!
Barbara who owns the store greeted me with a beautiful bunch of Birds of Paradise. I was tearing up a bit. Trying to work out how I can smuggle them back on the plane, lol
All prepped and ready to go for tomorrow
Ali the Elf did a fabulous job
Barbara looking her normal gorgeous self
No peace for the wicked…emails, Facebook updates, blogging…
Just look at the concentration…lol.
Think a long soak in the bath and an early night are in order
Enjoy xx
