As many of you will know I have been invited to teach on this years Life book, more info HERE, organised by the lovely Tam of Willowing arts.
Tam is joined by 22 incredible art teachers who are all gearing up to share their mixed media techniques, tips and tricks with YOU! Themed around self-development and healing, you’ll be creating several loose mixed media art journal pages per month which by the end of the year you will bind into a glorious journal (a Life Book)! You will have a wonderful keepsake that you can treasure for the rest of your life!

I turn 50 this month and have only just found mixed media and art journaling this year. I did not even know all this existed. It wasn't till a few years ago when I found your blog & saw how clear & open you are about yourself in your artwork that I even realised I, like many others, had lost the sense of who I am; somewhere between the many forced career changes, illnesses, caring for loved ones & bereavement.
Finances are a little tight at the moment so I would really appreciate the opportunity to find 'me' again & to fully reignite my passion for art/crafting (something I gave up along the way as I listened to others saying it was a waste of time & childish). I would love to be part of this trip. I am at a crossroads in my life – rapidly approaching the end of my 9to5 life and looking for ideas and inspiration to take me in a new direction. I currently commute between 2 lives and 2 homes so that keeping up with creative stuff is difficult. This sounds like the push I need.
