Pearl tutorial Day 5

Here we go with Day 5 of the tutorials.

You will need one of the prepared backgrounds that we made on day 1. If you missed it you will find the instructions HERE.

Materials used

Blonde Moments

Pearl pigments - Sugar Floss, Festive Copper, Spring Orange, Sugar Pink
Stamps - Gifts Galore, A Little Bit of That, Sweet Celebrations
Papers - Sugar Dumpling
Clear embossing powder
Spritzer bottle
Ribbon
Brads.

Carnation Archival ink pad
Black perfect medium Pad

Fragments

Method

Step 1. Ink up cross hatch stamp (A Little Bit of That) with Carnation Archival ink and stamp onto the background.

Step 2. Faux stitch around the edge with the Opaque white pen.

Step 3. Highlight the cross hatching with the Opaque white pen.

Step 4. Ink all the edges with the Raspberry Adirondack ink.

Step 5. Ink the Present stamp ( Gifts Galore) with the black Perfect Medium and stamp onto white card. Sprinkle with Blonde moments clear embossing powder.

Step 6. Heat emboss the image.

Step 7. Dip a wet paintbrush into the Blonde Moments Pearl Pigment Powder.

Step 8. Mix on the heat resistant mat into a creamy paint.

Step 9. Paint in the embossed image. Repeat with the other colours of pearl Pigments.

Step 10. Cut out the image leaving a small border.

Step 11. Cut out the ribbon with a scalpel.

Step 12. Mount onto pink card and cut out leaving a small border.

Step 13. Mount onto the background with foam tape.

To make the card.
Step 1. Ink up the surprise stamp ( Sweet Celebrations ) with the Carnation Archival ink, and stamp onto a C6 card.

Step 2. Ink up the same stamp with the Spiced Marmalade Distress ink and stamp all over the rest of the card.

Step 3. Tear a strip of Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling paper and ink both of the torn edges with the Spiced Marmalade Distress ink.

Step 4. Add to the card and ink all edges with the Spiced marmalade ink.

Step 5. Add a spiral clip to the top right corner of the Atc, and a brad through the centre.

Step 6. Add to the C6 card.

Step 7. Take an oval fragment and add Glossy Accents to the outer edge.

Step 8. Place the fragment over the pink surprise. Hold firmly for 10 secs to set.

Pearl Tutorial Day 4

Sorry I was missing in action yesterday, but here is Day 4 of the tutorial.

You will need one of the prepared backgrounds that we made on day 1. If you missed it you will find the instructions HERE.

Materials used

Blonde Moments

Pearl pigments - Sugar Floss, Festive Copper, Spring Orange, Sugar Pink
Stamps - A Little Bit of This, Sweethearts.
Cover mount stamp free with this months Craft Stamper
Papers - Sugar Dumpling
Clear embossing powder
Spritzer bottle
Ribbon
Brads.

Ranger

Raspberry Adirondack ink pad
Carnation Archival ink pad

Method

Step 1. Ink up the heart Background stamp ( A Little Bit of This) with Carnation Archival ink and stamp onto the prepared background.

.Step 2. Faux stitch around the edge with the Opaque white pen.,

Step 3. Accent the hearts with the Opaque white pen.

Step 4. Ink the edges with the Raspberry Adirondack ink.

Step 5. Stamp the heart stamps (Sweethearts) with Black Perfect Medium onto white card. Sprinkle with Blonde Moments clear embossing powder.

Step 6. Heat emboss the image.


Step 7. Dip a wet paintbrush into the Blonde Moments Pearl Pigments.

Step 8. Mix on the heat resistant mat to a creamy paint.


Step 9. Paint in the embossed images.

Step 10. Cut out the images leaving a small border all around.

Step 11. Mount one of the hearts onto pink card, and cut out leaving a small border.

Step 12. Mount the other heart onto orange card and cut out laving a small border.


Step 13. Mount onto the Atc with foam tape.


Step 13. Add decorative accents with the Star Dust Stickles.

To make the card.
Step 1. Add three heart brads to the bottom of the Atc.

Step 2. Ink up the heart border stamp ( Free with this months Craft Stamper Magazine), with the Carnation archival ink and repeat stamp all over a square card.

Step 3. Tear a strip of Sugar Dumpling pink paper and ink both torn edges with Spiced marmalade ink.

Step 4. Add to the front of the square card and ink all edges with the Spiced marmalade.

Step 5. Add the Atc to the front of the card.

Step 6. Add ribbon around card and tie in a double knot.

Pearl tutorial Day 3

So here we are with day 3 of the Atc's/cards.

You will need one of the ready prepared backgrounds we made earlier. If you missed it you will find it here.
Materials
Blonde Moments
Papers - Spring Fling
Spritzer bottle
Ribbon
Ranger

Method
Step 1. Take one prepared background. Ink the quote stamp(Gifts Galore) with carnation Archival ink and stamp onto the background.
Step 2. Faux stitch around the edge with the Opaque white pen.

Step 3. Add accents to the quote with the white pen.
Step 4. Stamp the stripy arrow (Johannas Direction) onto white card with Black Perfect Medium. Sprinkle with Blonde Moments clear embossing powder.


Step 5. Heat emboss the image.

Step 6. Dip a wet paintbrush into the Blonde Moments Spring Orange Pearl Pigment.

Step 7. Mix on the heat resistant mat into a creamy paint.

Step 8. Paint in the image. Repeat with the other colours of pearl pigments.

Step 9. Cut out the image leaving a small border.

Step 10. Mount onto pink card , cut out leaving a small border.



Step 11. Mount onto the background with foam tape.

To make the card

Step 1. Ink the curvy arrow with Carnation Archival Ink and stamp all over a C6 card.


Step 2. Tear a strip of Blonde Moments Spring Fling orange paper and ink both torn edges with Raspberry Adirondack ink.


Step 3. Add to card and ink all edges with Raspberry ink.


Step 4. Add Atc to card.


Step 5. Thread a long brad through a game spinner and a sprocket gear. Make a hole through the bottom of the Atc and thread the embellishments through, so that the arrow spins.
