Where am I and where I am headed!!

It's the 4th of July today and here I am inCancun  Mexico. This is the email I sent Ranger

Lol. People keep asking me if we celebrate the 4th in the UK! C'mon guys!!! We lost remember!!!

So around the 4th everything shuts down and no one wants you around. Awwwww. So I took myself off for a working break seeking inspiration, well that's the official line!!!

I am actually working very hard, as you can see.

This place is as beautiful at night as it is at day.

I had a little friend join me for breakfast, Irene the Iguana. Isn't she gorgeous, once you get over the shock! She's over 2ft long and very friendly

I was a bit uncertain about the food when I arrived as, although there was a large selection of veg, most of it had cheese or something on it! #problemsofatravelingvegan396. So I had a word with my butler! He he, oh yes, you get a butler when you are residing in The  Royal Towers !!!! Well where else did you think I'd be??
Since then the chefs have gone out of their way to provide me with fabulous nutritional meals at every sitting! Not sure I will fit in the plane to go home.

Nothing but praise and 5stars for the staff. One small problem ...I'm missing my Boo, but I had a long FaceTime with him this morning so feeling happier!

This weekend 9/10 th July I will appearing at Stamp Fest in Carson California with the fabulous Stampers Anonymous. Come see me.

The following weekend 16/17th I will be in Dallas at the fabulous Big Mouth Scrappers. I think there are a couple of spaces on 1 of the days!

23/24th I will be at Scrapbooking Forever, Westlake Village, California. Still some spaces left if you want to come join me.

30/31st July you will find me at Scrapmania, Cedar Rapids

And finally the 5/6th August I will be in Cinncinatti at the fabulous Stampaway show.

In between those appearances I am doing a retailer training day, 2 distributor training days, a couple of days holed up filming videos, and a fleeting visit to the Office. See it's not all sand sea and shenanigans.

Hope to see you on my travels

Enjoy xx

The Canadian Adventure...Part Two

So so sorry that I am so late in blogging my lovely visit to Scrap Addicts, Edmonton. I was really struggling with the wifi where I was, so decided to leave it until I got back to Ranger Headquarters.
If you follow me on the Dylusions face book page, you will have seen all the news already.

Classes were large, average 50 people and so the store decamped to their local hall, which was a fabulous light and airy space to work in. We also had a projector showing what I was doing so there wasn't a bad seat in the house.

Friday night we had a meet and greet. This is a fabulous opportunity for photos and signing books. Just look at the queue! Those Canadians are keen!! At the front of the queue is the lovely Pat and her husband who drove for 11 hrs to come and take the classes. Pretty impressive don't you think??

The lovely Cassandra brought her journal in for me to see. Lots of Dylusions!!

I may or may not have added a little Dylusions quote to the store wall!!!

So first day ready to go.
Here with the lovely store owners, Cory Lyn and Ivy.
I made the dress in the hotel room the day before lol.

Day one was all about techniques, inky and painty.

Tired but happy, there was a long line for photos.

Another full classroom for Day Twos shenanigans

The following three photos are from the lovely Matt, my little Dylusions protege !!

Sunday night, 200 students later I was ready to drop

Thank you Edmonton, you were all fabulous, students and hosts. I'll be back xx

Then it was back on the plane, heading to Clipper Street in Langley, Vancouver

Enjoy xx

Chilling with the Canadians

Its been a long time coming but I have finally touched Canadian soil!!!

My first stop was at the lovely Natalies of Scrapbook Centrale in Montreal

Fabulous displays in the store

Vegan burgers at Copper Branch. Fabulous, I think I ate there 5 times lol. And managed to get my beloved fresh juices.

The first day of teaching I wore purple in honour of Prince who sadly lost his life.

And even the classroom was holding tribute to him, lol.

Day two and  the lovely Constance came to pay a visit and show me her journal, yay to her Mum for encouraging her. She spoke fabulous English, as did everyone I met. Thank you as I speak terrible French lol.

Day three was just as fabulous as the others

And before we could blink it was over!!!

Here is the lovely Josee who's husband Marc had bought her all of the classes for her 50th birthday.

Lots of people had driven for hours to get here, but Alison drove the furthest. 11 hours...yes you heard me correctly 11hrs!!!!. I salute you

I had a fabulous time and Natalie was a wonderful host, providing me with hot tea and vegan food.

Teaching her the normal Dyan photo face, lol

A big thank you to all of her staff as well, they are a wonderful bunch. If you have never been to the store, its well worth a visit.
Packed with stock and they do some fabulous workshops. Definitely check out the ones by the extremely talented Giselle below.

All in all, I had a blast and as Arnie says "I'll be back" and I promise it won't take me 4 yrs this time lol.

Go HERE for their write up of my visit.

So it was Aurevoir  to Montreal and on to the next stop.

Enjoy xx
