Round up of news from the studio...Pt 1...

Phew, doesn't time fly..? I am halfway through my latest trip to America and I am sooo behind with my blogging, so here is a picture heavy  precis of the proceedings.

First up we had a fabulous workshop preview and open day.

That evening one of my daughters, The Resident bit of Glamour, treated me to an evening of burlesque.

The lovely Ruth showing off her union jack dress

Sunday saw me teaching a canvas workshop to a group of round robin art journallers who were meeting for the first time to swap their journals.
We did a large canvas and the results were fabulous

A heartfelt plea...

to all wonderful pushers of wheelchairs in airports. Although I am so grateful and can't thank you enough as I would never have made it without you....if you don't look and continue to repeatedly push my bad foot into doors, people, lifts and other peoples luggage, please don't look offended when I scream.!!
Just saying!!!

New Dylusions releases for Summer CHA

So, here I am sat in a hotel near Manchester airport, ready for my long flights tomorrow.

The idea was, relaxing drive down, early night., refreshed for the long days travel to Los Angeles.

The reality was running round like a blue arsed fly, grabbing samples, flinging dresses into suitcases, queueing for hours in the bank ( don't even go there), having my roots done...the brown was coming through..How ruuuude!!! Finishing off the brochure list, saying my goodbyes to my kiddywinks...hmmm...sorry young adults, Buying mens Ugg slippers cos nothing else will get over my broken toes without causing me to scream after 30 mins. Can you believe it £80 for a pair of slippers...wtf??? But you know what...worth every frikkin penny!!

Err what else.?? Oh yes spending the drive down editing photos and typing out the instructions for my CHA class, not easy when Mr Babe of Deliciousness is careering around bends on country lanes!!!

So we finally get here, gorgeous room, four poster bed, bottle of the best vimto and ready to relax, only to finally check my emails (those on O2 will know we have had no phone signal all day) to find my new Dylusions releases have already been leaked. !!! How very dare they?? What is the world coming to when your own sneek peeks get sneek peeked !!!!!

So instead of chilling and enjoying the ambience me thought I had better offer you all a blog post and pretty damn quick at that, lol. Unfortunately I can't show you many samples until I land at the other side of the pond, as they are all beautifully wrapped in bubble wrap and stuffed...err sorry positioned into my case. I do promise though as soon as I get to the other end, I will release there fabulousness on you all!!!

First up I am releasing 4 stencils large and small. All with a Christmas theme, but will co-ordinate perfectly with the ones you already have.

First up starry starry night...large and small stars...who could resist?

Ho Ho Holly.. a combination of words and holly...

Let it snow...an abundance of snowflakes with a candy stripe border.

And finaly...Oh Christmas Tree... need I say more

The stencils, of course are the same size as before...5 x 8 in and 9 x 12 in, comprising a border and an inner background.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh...it won't let me upload any photos tonight. Noooooooo don't do this to me!!!!

I will continue, but you will have to use your imagination, lmao!!!

Next I have 4 stamp sets being released. Again all Christmas themed

we kick off with a set of fabulous backgrounds...

then onto Christmas borders...baubles, holly, and trees to name a few..
