Roll up, roll up, read all about it...!!!
Oooooooh heres news of the fifth member of the Altered Originals Design Team..
You ready....????
Stand by your beds....!!!
Here she is...
Yes its the delectable Kirsty Wiseman We havent had time to make her own button yet, so she is probably sulking as we speak and hunting out Jaffa cakes to taunt me with, lol....
If you haven't already seen it pop over to Kates blog where she has a stunning collage page, made with the inks and the downloads.
And heres some fabby cards from Bezzie Su.
Nice to see they are starting to earn their keep, lmao.
Well it seems you have all fallen in love with my new spray inks as they haven,t just flown out the door, they have literally stampeded..!!! We have sold nearly 400 bottles in just under 4 days..!!!!!, and still the orders are flooding in. We will have restocks hopefully by the middle of next week, for those of you who are waiting patiently...
The backgrounds class yesterday was brill, we had a fabby time, but they swarmed over the shop like a plague of locusts, clearing us out of tons of products..!!!! I think its ace that they were sooooooo inspired. As you all know I am a real tecnique girl and just love my backgrounds, and inky , messy, painty pratting around. And what better than to have 12 other ladies all leaving the workshop[ feeling the same way. ??
Mind you we must have looked rather strange when we frequented the new eaterie after..!! We all had ink, paint and dye from our fingertips tips to our elbows....Ok, I confess, that was just me, but the rest were nearly as bad, honest..lol.
I have two extra workshop dates that I need you to put in your diaries.
The first is the July Art Journaling for regulars...I have managed to squeeze it in on Sunday the 11th July. 10 - 3. Ring Our Ben and let him know, because if you are all away that day I will sneaking a weekend away with The Babe, lol.
The second date is a play day. It is next Wednesday 30th June. 10 - 3pm and it is £20.00.
The idea being that you come along, use all my stuff and play all day. There is no tuition, as such ,on this day, it isn't a substitute for a class. It is chance to spend the whole day pratting around, sorry, working very hard....lmao. I will be providing cake and snacky bits, and pratting around alongside you. Mind you, don't tell Our Ben, if he asks I am providing you with my expert guidance...!!!
The Resident bit of Glamour is here at the moment...we are getting the studio ready for the character painting weekend. She is decanting all the choccies into their respective vessels, whilst hoovering one handed, removing her nail varnish and dancing to the Freemasons...!! I meanwhile am sat here quietly blogging and letting her get on with it. Mind you I was here at 7.30 this morn and won't be leaving till at least 10.30 tonight. Such dedication eh..???
But to brighten my weekend, The Babe will be home tomorrow.. Woop de woop...good times..lmao
Enjoy xx

The best news in the whole wide world times 2 (with knobs on) !!!
Da Dahhhhhhh...!!!! Yes its time to unveil the members of the Altered Originals Design Team. We have chosen a select few who we feel can bring their own style and specialness to the products.
Starting with, non other than, the fabulously talented Dina Wakley. She is the queen of inkyness and only owns about 300 bottles of ink and therefore is desperate to get her hands on some more...lol.
Another stunning artist is the delightfully quirky Kate Crane. Her eclectic collage style is greatly admired by many.
And finally non other than the gorgeous screwball, Bezzie Su.... Can't link to her blog as she hasn't got one...At the moment...hint hint Su...lol. She has a tremendous knack for looking at things unlike any other sane person...!!!
Oh and me...but you already know my style...a bit of pratting around, mixed with a slice of slapdash, a great big dollop of passion and a pinch of eclecticness. Leave to simmer for an hour, then blast with a bit of Northern soul...Serve with a pinch of salt..!!!
So there we go , 4 totally different styles for you to see. My design team has no rules, no conditions, no must do's. They just do what they want, when they want, if they want...lmao
Now for Dragon news.. Many of you are extremely concerned at the moment about the whereabouts of the kidnapped dragon. Well he is safe and sound at Ranger Headquarters.. The lovely Anneliese sent me some photos back to re-assure me.
Dragon had apparantly tried to make a grab for freedom , and was found a little disorientated in the grass.
Anna liese tempted him back with a nice cold drink....
and a few nibbles...
Predictably he was soon putty in her hands...
To celebrate he treated them all to a night out
But got a little lairy on the old cocktails...
He was soon paying for it the next morning with a banging headache. And had to be escorted around all day by Mario.
Rumour has it that he will be reunited with me in Chicago....Yayyyy....
Right I,m off to phone the babe and then its The Land of Nod for me...
Enjoy xx

The products have started to land....
Yayy I can now spill some of the beans about one of my new ventures....!! We have developed a new range of products, under the name Altered Originals. I made them with Art Journaling in mind but the can be used for soooooooooooooooooooooooo much more. The first products were the downloads HERE which you all know about. And I have just taken delivery of the 2nd. Any ideas..???
Is this any easier...??
Or this...?
Or maybe this...???
Oh yes..you got it. These are the first 8 of the new spray inks I have been developing. Yes, I did say first 8...!!!! There are more of the little beauties in the pipe line. So what are they..??
They are a range of waterbased dye inks which come in 8 vibrant colours available in a 50ml spray bottle.
Inks can be sprayed directly from the bottle for beautiful backgrounds or decanted into our smaller spritzers. Add a little Blonde Moments Pearl Powders with them for a soft shimmer effect. Their translucent qualities make them ideal for layering and applying with a brush for a watercolour effect.Ideal for - Spraying, Stenciling, Blending backgrounds, Layering, Masking, Painting and whereever your creativity may lead you...!!
I have always loved the Adirondack colour washes by Ranger, but , you know me, I wanted brighter, bolder, more vibrant colours. And so thats what I did. I will still be using my Adirondack colourwashes alongside mine, so no need to panic....I am just filling in what I feel are the gaps in the market, lol.
I will be getting some how-to's, some step by steps and hopefully some video footage of how they work and what you can do with them asap. Promise..!!!
All I can say at the moment is, yes you've guessed it...
"I just Frikkin love them...!!!"
Heres the rundown of colours, one by one...
Burnt Orange
Fuschia
Granite
Hot Pink
Jade
Lime
Pomegranate
Sky Blue
Gorgeous aren,t they...??
To celebrate their launch I will be giving away a full set today. All you have to do is leave me a comment on which you think may be your favourite colour and why. If you are anything like me it will alter all the time, lol.
Now I know its really late but heres my contribution to WOYWW ( Whats on your Workspace Wednesday. Now I,m not sure if it is within the rules to post so late so here goes. To blog hop around over 100 more little peeks into others creative workstations, then pop to its originator Julia
As usual it is spread across loads of desks.
There is a pile of Tim's stamps, a drawer full of masks and stencils, a couple of journals in progress, basket of inks, inky kitchen towel, paints and a letter block tray.
A tray of Distress inks, 2 more journals in progress, inked and sprayed tagsa, mahoosive box of Adirondack colourwashes.
File full of Top Secret images..!!!,File full of my downloads, numerous cans of Pepsi Max and empty tea mugs, the biscuit barrel before I dropped it and smashed it completely, lol, and 3 printers trays, with works in progress. Our Ben has got the printers trays on a special offer this weekend, so I went and snaffled these before they all vanish..!!! If you fancy one the offer is HERE
We,ve had fun in the kids classes this week, making cards for Fathers Day, or in some cases their significant other..!!! These are 2 of the cards.
We inked, we faux bleached, we stamped, we watercoloured, we cut we stuck, we had a beaut time. Heres some photos from oone of the classes.
And heres a few pages from little Sarahs journal...Not bad for 9 years old yeah..??
Well, its my Northern Soul do at Brighouse tonight, can,t wait, really need a good dance to blow the cobwebs away. It,s been a strange old week, messing with my head a bit, and so a good old blow out will do the trick..!! Teaching a gypsy workshop tomorrow and then a childrens birthday party for sixteen 9 yr olds..!!!! But all is well, as The Babe will be home for a couple of days, to keep me in mischief. Yes I know it should read "out of mischief" but you know me too well, lmao...!!!
Enjoy and don,t forget to leave a comment xx

bit of this, lot of that and loads of the other....
First things first.....If you were a friend of mine on Facebook, then don't worry I haven't blocked or deleted you..!!! I have taken myself off there for personal reasons, but would still love to keep in touch with you all. I do have another page under the Art from the Heart name, so if you click like we can continue to keep in touch.
You also need to pop over to the lovely Janet's blog. She has written a little something about me which has had me blubbing. Thanks darling. You can read it HERE.
Today,s class was a blast.. We were sewing, painting, inking, dripping, splodging, dabbing, spraying, spritzing, doodlin, stampimg, colouring, cutting, sticking and generally having a ball. So much so that I forgot to take many pictures, lol. So heres what I did manage.
I,m sat on my bed so I thought I would show you a few of my favourite things in the room that I have collected over the years. Although I do have a my faith I am not a religious fanatic. The reason I have so many religious icons is the plain and simple fact that I just love them.
Oops, not sure how that slipped in, lmao...
I just wanted to show you the cards that the lovely Dee made for a magazine, using my Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling range. Gorgeous aren't they..???
And I will leave you with some more pics of the love of my life...
Enjoy xx
