The "Distress " has landed

Yayy. Guess what came today. ?? Yes the latest Ranger delivery. Ooh it was a fight between me and Mr Unbribeable as to who could get to the Distress Stickles first. He seemed to be under the strange impression that they were his for the shop and website. Good Grief!! didn't he realise that they are MINE, ALL MINE????? Well I lost and they are safely under his lock and key waiting for you all to order.Well all I can say is that you had better be quick cos I,ll find em if it kills me!!! lol Tried to get them by innocently saying I needed a picture for the blog but he wasn't having any of it. I then tried a different tack by telling him I had baked him a choccie cake for his birthday ( fingers crossed behind back) but he knew I was telling porkies, he,d already seen on yesterdays blog that it was Elaine the Baker. Hmmmm need to come up with something more convincing. Maybe he will let me help Emmi pack some of the orders and I can accidentally lose some????
Did manage to sneak out some of the Tim Holtz masks tho, Jeez I am sooooo addicted to these beauties. Was playing with them on canvas, absolutely fabby. All the styles are restocked apart from the Random alphabet. Also restocked all the Idea-ology hardware as well, so get in quick.
Said I would give a shout out on the blog when Claudines Matte medium was in but cant remember who I was supposed to be telling, so here goes. Whoever asked for it "THE MATTE MEDIUM IS BACK IN" hope that works lol
Popped into the supermarket on the way home and look whats out, YAYY its the dvd of Mamma Mia .

Had to pick up a copy and give it to my mum to give me back for Christmas. Also got a massive bottle of Baileys for £10, yesssss £10. So that's her sorted me out. I know some of you will say that cos I know what I,m getting it will spoil the surprise. But if you knew me well you would realise that by this time next week I will have totally forgotten all about it so that by the time Christmas comes around it will, genuinely, be a surprise. Ooh just spotted that it has on screen lyrics for every musical number. What more could you want. I,ll put it on on Christmas Day when I want them all to go home. My singing voice can clear a room in 60 seconds flat.
Also treated myself to a little pair of tootsie warmers. The Goddess insisted I buy them as she couldn't resist. I,m not quite so sure myself. They are not quite as High, pointy, strappy and glamorous as I have become accustomed to .. And I can only imagine what " He Who must be Obeyed" in America thinks about them. I am sure there will be an official email about dress code for Senior Educators.!! Funny how they all seem to love the higher heels isn't it. Still at £3-50 at least they didn't eat into the expenses budget too much lol

I am writing this whilst listening to the new Killers album "Day and Age". Ooh I do love them. The album was only released today and Mr Unbribeable asked me to pick him up a copy. I felt it was only my motherly duty to import it onto my laptop to ensure that it worked. Wouldn't want to be handing him shabby goods now would I??? Just look at the fabby cover. Makes me all inspired to do a spotty painting. There I go again, what is it with me and spots??

Do you know Kirsty nwould die if she could see the quality of these photos wouldnt she? Still I cant be fabulous at everything, can I ??

New - Tena Lady milk!!!

What a great day today. We had one of my bezzies, the adorable Kirsty Wiseman, who if I can just say is looking absolutely fantastic having lost one and a half stone, to teach in the studio. She is soooooo funny and I knew we would spend the whole day laughing. So much so that I just have to tell you a tale from yesterday. Lisa my Lovely was here both days and so when she left yesterday offered to save me a job and go and get fresh milk and choccie biccies from the supermarket for me. When she asked if she should get anything special I told her to make sure she got Tena ladies because with Kirsty coming we would need one. (meaning we would be laughing soooo much that we would be wetting ourselves. ) She nodded and then came back to say was it in the normal milk section or somewhere different? I asked what was she on about and she replied quite seriously " the special Tena ladies milk". !!!! Well I was laughing so much tears were streaming down my face and I coulod have done with one then myself. She seriously thought it was a special kind of milk that Kirsty drank!!! Hilarious. She was mortified when i finally stopped laughing enough to explain.
Imagine my surprise when she came in this morning with this little beauty in her hand!!

Isn't that just so funny. That started us all off again so by the time Kirsty walked in we were all hysterical. Lisa told us she was telling her husband about it and he couldn't understand it because he always thought ladies were Sopranos not Tenas!!!!! I t must be hilarious living at their house and at least they are well matched.

Any way when everyone finally settled down the class was amazing. They made a perpetual advent calendar with Basic Grey papers. Lots of darling little pockets to put your tags in. Kirsty left me hers for our Maisie to have .. That ,ll be her 123rd then ha ha .isn't it gorgeous.

At lunch I was chatting to 3 lovely new ladies and said I hoped they were enjoying themselves and it wasn't too raucous and lively for them. Kathy replied no she thought it might be like this because she had seen me at the Stratford Scrapaganza weekend and that all they could hear above the noise of the cropping hall was me laughing! I got embarrassed and started to apologise but she said no she thought it was fab. Awwww isn't that nice!!

After lunch everyone made a Christmas tree table decoration from old book pages, which were distressed with inks and alcohol ink splodges. This was a really neat idea and one I will be pinching to use with the kids classes. The book pages I had sent Kirsty to make her samples with were from Mansfield Park who's heroines name is Fanny. So her Christmas tree table decoration will apparently not be gracing her kitchen table ha ha , cant think why not. You need to hop over to her blog to see if she has anything to say on the matter (which I am sure she will have plenty knowing her.)

Lots of home baking today from Elaine the Baker aka teachers pet!) Mr Unbribeable and The Goddess will be ecstatic to find there is lots left for them. They will also be relieved to find that there are no mistakes on the till this week. Last week I had a little blip with an £59,350 over ring on theSaturday and a £22,500 on the Sunday. Woops , that wouldn't half increase the turnover yeah??? Serves them right for daring to have days off I say.

Mr Pickles classes are going really fast so try not to leave it too late before booking. The Christmas album is almost full. kirsty is coming on the Popstar class. I have to say the picture does not do this workshop justice. I have seen this album and it is fab and I think it is Lances favourite album to teach.

And finally today's shoe watch -- How about this little pair of beauties brought in by the lovely Raine. Pretty huh? I love it that you have all started bring in your gorgeous shoes to wear. Wonder when you,ll start bringing in your bras lol???

Aaaaargh again

Why wont it let me post the one I have spent two hours doing??????????? Dont know what to do now. Will sleep on it and try again in the morning . Sorry

Lovely bakers

Well I,ve typed this three times and each time its kicked me out. Awww the joys of the internet eh?? First of all I need to show you a pic of one of my bezzies mates the gorgeous Su. She is normally delicately dressed in jeans and Dr Martens. Much to every ones surprise she is actually a professional women with a highly demanding job ( I know laughable isn't it lol. Sos Su you know I luv you) Well she popped in yesterday and I nearly passed out with shock. See pic below.

Yes for those who know her she does possess legs and shoes (girly ones at that)!!

Todays workshop was the gorgeous Daisy D planner and was the usual riot of fun and laughter!! Ive tried being calm and professional but its just not the same is it?? Elaine the Baker was on it but had no baking with her. Its a good job Mr unbribeable wasn't there or he would have evicted her straight away. She did have a valid excuse tho, shes back again tomorrow and is bringing it then Yeyy. I baggsy first sniff.
Her partner in crime the Lisa my lovely saved the day with her own baking, and by gum it smelt good. Please note it is not a requirement of the classes to bring along home baking or chocolate, but it don't half get you on the favourites list quicker ha ha .

Just wanted to show you this lovely book in a tin that Elaine the baker made Lisa My Lovely for her birthday. It is a gorgeous book full of Elaines original recipies. What a wonderful idea and such a personalised gift. I just need her to make me one thats like a "scratch n sniff"". Wouldnt that be cool???

Many of the recipies are laminated , brill in a messy kitchen.

I also love the fact that she has used her own handwriting.

Look at the cool rolling pin

Bras, Blurs and Bonny Ben

Well the day has passed in a blur again!!! Is it a sign of old age cos I aint ready for that yet!! Didnt get chance to post last night , I was straight to sleep as soon as I got in. Got another pic from one of the kids classes. These are a few of the slightly older girls.

They have put a lot of time and effort into them and it really shows doesnt it..Been working like mad on the articles for the mags. Got a few sneek peeks here for you.

Now I just need to finish all the instructions. Internet playing up tonight , already lost it all once!!!!! Goddam it!!! But I am taking deep breaths ( whilst muttering the F word, oops) and I am sure that utter calm will suddenly descend upon me, so that I can redo it all again.

Is that the Time???

OK here is a really really late post. Sorry!!! I have spent most of the night on the phone. The world and his wife needed to speak to me tonight. Typical when i have sooooo much to do tonight. I am way behind on the deadlines for the magazines ( why aren't you surprised?) and Ive got kit instructions coming out of my ears. So it will be at least 3am before Ican pass out, so I hope you will excuse the short post. Promise I will do better tomorrow, honest.

Wanted to say something about the comments on the journal day yesterday. Many of you are saying that you wish you had signed up for it now you've seen what we are doing. Well its not too late you know. Sign up for the next one - The Covers - on Dec 7th with everyone else and I will put in a special catch up day for those of you who missed yesterday. Hows that.?? To tired to put i9n a link lol but if you ring us we can book you down 01423 873739. Don't confuse The Goddess or The Unbribeable One by explaining as I haven't told them yet. Just book for the Covers class and leave the rest to me.

Cant tell you the winner of the glue stick competition yet, cos only The Goddess knows the correct amount and I think she would kill me if I rang her now lol I,ll sort it for tomorrow though, Promise.
