Want to win a place on Life book 2014.??


As many of you will know I have been invited to teach on this years Life book, more info HERE, organised by the lovely Tam of Willowing arts.

Tam is joined by 22 incredible art teachers who are all gearing up to share their mixed media techniques, tips and tricks with YOU! Themed around self-development and healing, you’ll be creating several loose mixed media art journal pages per month which by the end of the year you will bind into a glorious journal (a Life Book)! You will have a wonderful keepsake that you can treasure for the rest of your life! 


Registration starts on 7th Oct and to celebrate Life Book is holding a blog hop and today is my day...Yayyyyy

    Yay I got here.. Thanks for the chance to win this. I have been looking at this and have checked out all the amazing teachers that are joining next year. How awesome would this be.. I turn 50 this month and have only just found mixed media and art journaling this year. I did not even know all this existed. I have been having so much fun with all my sprays and inks incorporating my sewing skills into my journals is such fun..

    I really really really neeeeed to win this! Why? Well with what I've been through this year I need to have a creative outlet! One that I can learn new techniques! A creative outlet so I don't get swallowed up by the horrible events of life! I need to win so that I can say "so what that I died and was brought back just to learn that I lost my voice both two different hospital errors"! I need to win so I can shout Yay from the rooftops Something positive happened to me in 2013! So please Dyan I really really need this!

    feBook 2013 was my first Mixed Media and even art experience. I have learned and grown into a full blown art addict on the hunt for the next class and art supply list LOL So thankful to grow with such a great community of artists and talented teachers.     I think with such a great bunch of teachers it will be an incredible journey of art. I think it could also be a great chance to work through all the 'stuff' in our heads we put in boxs not to be opened! A New start a New Year A New Art Course.... Just what every girl needs.....     Wow Dyan! This course looks incredible.
    It wasn't till a few years ago when I found your blog & saw how clear & open you are about yourself in your artwork that I even realised I, like many others, had lost the sense of who I am; somewhere between the many forced career changes, illnesses, caring for loved ones & bereavement.
    Finances are a little tight at the moment so I would really appreciate the opportunity to find 'me' again & to fully reignite my passion for art/crafting (something I gave up along the way as I listened to others saying it was a waste of time & childish).     I would love to be part of this trip. I am at a crossroads in my life – rapidly approaching the end of my 9to5 life and looking for ideas and inspiration to take me in a new direction. I currently commute between 2 lives and 2 homes so that keeping up with creative stuff is difficult. This sounds like the push I need.
