New blood in the camp...!!!

Ooooh where to start today...???It was a bit calmer today. Had a fab alcohol ink workshop. Most of the ladies were newcomers and they were an absolute pleasure to teach. Plus they finished every single one of the cards planned. Amazing..!! They then swarmed into the shop like a bunch of locusts and proceeded to strip it bare... Still it kept Our Ben busy..lol.

For today's wardrobe remix, I,m rocking the street urchin look. Oooh I,m sooooooo sophisticated aren't I..??? lmao

How about this in your wardrobe...??? It was made by a father for his daughter to wear at the prom and is made entirely from condoms. I think he really managed to get the safe sex message across, don't you. Wonder if she had the courage to wear it. I just love it and like to think it was maybe something I would have worn for a laugh in my younger years..

My good friend , the lovely little Julie, called in at tea time, and brought me this. Its a chocolate moose, and guess what..?? His nose smells of chocolate..!!! So I can sit here sniffing him to my hearts content...Frikkin cooooooool or what..???

We had an unexpected visitor in tonight's regular Tuesday. Bezzie Su,s husband, the gorgeous H, had been moaning that Su had a bolt hole to escape to and that he didn't. So she challenged him to attend her bolt hole, and here he is.

He tried to pretend he wasn't enjoying himself, but this picture begs to differ.

Here's tonights tag.

The background of the tag was painted with dabbers. We then applied a template over the top and sponged Perfect Medium through. After removing the template we dusted Blonde Moments Pearl Pigments on the top. We then stamped with the diamond stamp and perfect Medium and dusted with pearls as well. The main image is stamped onto a alcohol ink background.

Because its half term I haven't any of the usual kids classes on so I had a couple of hours between workshops, so after cleaning up and resetting for tonight, I did some Art Journaling. The Goddess has been tipping out around the back ( don't worry she takes plenty of provisions with her, warm clothing, flashlight and also a mobile phone, just in case). Have you been round the back in our place..??? Nuff said...Anyway she came upon a large box full of all my old jars of ink. Yayy haven't played with those for years. I,ll tell you how long it is, I used to colour in my peel offs with them. How frikkin hilarious is that..??? Well I decided I would have a play with them and slopped ( Dy technical term, lol ) them onto a page. Used Tim's clocks to mask and added background stamps and inks...Loving it so far...


I then started adding the collage elements and doodling.

I,m really happy with the way it turned out considering I was only pratting around..!!!

What a day, what a day, what a day.....!!

Today didn't get off to the best of starts. I had an early night but woke up feeling as though I had done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson... So formed a plan...would go to work, help Our Ben and The Goddess to unload the van, get the studio ready for tomorrows class and then jump ship. Sounds like a plan, yeah..???
Nothing like a plan, oh no. Got to work to find the builders pulling down the ceiling in the corridor all over my sample boards and the large amount of paraphernalia in there. So we spent 2 hours lugging things up and down stairs, before we even started to unload the van. And then it was one complication after another. Typical. mind you I think its finally decided me on the show/no show..??? I am only going to attend the GNPS at Harrogate in the future, Mar and Sept. Its just not worth the hassle and the disruption to the shop and studio. I will still be teaching at events just not exhibiting. Don't worry Macduffians I will still be bringing my shop to you in Aug and to the Irish ladies in May. I,m also teaching at a big event down South in April. Will give you news about that shortly.

Forgot about wardrobe remix when I just threw anything on this morning. But as Emmi says I cant just welch cos I,m in ,y scruff, so here I am in all my glory... And I have to confess that since I said I was determined to lose this weight I have put even more on..???Wtf..?? Need to get my head round it more. I am really , really trying to conquer my purging but that leads to weight gain, which in my eyes isn't as bad as getting fat... (yes I know its wrong, but that's how I feel..!!!). Anyhow a plea to you all, although I love it when you buy me gifts can I please ban toffees and chocolates from the gift list. Flowers will still be graciously accepted, lol.

Yayyyyyyy I,m back..!!!! Been busy, busy , busy... Friday was spent packing up the shop ready for the show. Friday night we went to the theatre, where the average age was about 65..!!! Should have known that was a bad sign... The four actresses were great, really knew their lines, but the whole thing just wasn't really very funny. It just felt really flat. Plus, I had the lovely Kenny on one side of me nearly nodding off cos he hated it and on the other some fella perving on me. So at halftime ( which couldn't come quick enough,lol) I took the executive decision to just go drinking instead. And that's what we did and it was lovely.

Saturday, I was making new samples all day ( peeks tomorrow ) and then we drove out to Doncaster ready for set up. When we got there, was the hall ready..??? Was it frikk..!!! There was a cast show on, and the hall was full of cat poo, fluff, tables, trolleys, scratchy tools and a few kitchen sinks by the look of it..!! 2 hrs later they had finally cleared out and we could get started. By the time we got home it was after 11, so straight to bed for the 6 am start this morning..oh yes, its a glamorous life...
It was lovely to see all of you at the show and hope you all had a fabby time. I need an early night cos I think I,m coming down with something, that's all I need isn't it..??

Crikey Moses, is that the time..???

Its 2.15am and I am just starting to blog. i am also trying to type very carefully as I have just done my nails...!!!wtf..?? I know, I know, backwards way first, but, you know me. Had a great kids party tonight and then the girlies came round for the night. We had Chinese, giggles, fashion show, laughs, piss takes and lots of love... I then had a 2 1/2 phone conversation where all track of time was lost completely..!!! So here we are.

This is a finished journal page from those I prepped the other day. This was done in Starbucks this afternoon, when I escaped for a couple of hours, lol.

Busy day tomorrow, picking up the Van, packing up for the Show at the Doncaster Dome on Sun. Mag article to start, kits to prep, samples to make. Then its the gorgeous Maisie at ours for the night. I,m also being taken out, to the theatre, no sh*t...!!! Ha ha yes I am , its a Jon Godber production and is supposed to be hilarious. Hope so, I could do with a good chuckle. Then we are hitting Harrogates excellent watering holes..!!! And somewhere in amongst that I have to spend time making myself look totally gorge and find an stunningly, not tried too hard, outfit than I can shimmy my fat arse into...lmao...

So I may not blog tomorrow...but you never know

Wardrobe remix will continue until I can get back into the clothes I adore. Now I know I am not fat, and apologies to those who feel I have nothing to moan about, but I am a lot bigger , at the moment, than I am comfortable with. The only way I am gonna get my finger out is to name and shame myself every day, wearing stuff Iam not that thrilled with. Inside my head I am still slim and it is only when I see the photos that I remember I,m not, lol.
